SIGNATURE PROJECT - BETIS HOUSING PROJECT, GUAGUA, PAMPANGA
As of July 2019, the 144 houses and other buildings in the Betis Housing Project at a total cost of PhP15,250,000. Each house costs around P100,000 each. The amount excludes the donations in kind and labor from the beneficiaries.
This is a joint project of RC Loyola Heights and RC Armargh, Ireland.
Since last year, RCLH provided the livelihood center with high-speed sewing machines and continues to expand it. Potable water is scarce in the Betis community. RCLH, in partnership with RC Lahaina, Hawaii, implemented last September 2019 a supplemental water system. It has an estimated total cost of P190,878.
